Spring is springing here in Cincinnati, and the weather has been perfect to explore. Red Bird Hollow is one of my favorites, and today the side trails that cross the main path were begging for exploration.
The side trails to this area are well travelled, and some of them lead to interesting areas and sights. For example, this time of year, green valleys covered with yellow flowers, and tiny waterfalls that would normally not be there during the drier months of summer.
This is one of the best times to get out and explore locally. The forest is returning to life from the yearly hiatus called winter, and so far this year is shaping up to be great.
