We suggest 15 feet. This will fit a variety of cockpit sizes, then you may cut to fit your particular boat if you choose.

What are the next courses in the Great Miami Outfitters’ paddling progression? The next courses after a Basic and Advanced Kayak Rescue and Re-entry Workshop is an Introduction to Kayak Course. During the 8-hour Introduction to Kayak Course, we will cover everything from strokes, to unloading and loading your kayak, to appropriate apparel for different paddling environments! Additionally, we offer both Essentials of Kayak Touring and Essentials of River Kayaking. These are both 2-day skirted courses, where we practice paddling skills specific to a deep-water lake or moving swiftwater environments! Pre-registration is required all courses.
